Another project, construction of a carving facility, was completed in 2014 by Wrangell Research's Tis Peterman and Carol Snoddy. Our project manager was Todd White of White Construction. Located in downtown Wrangell, the cultural center is the site for art classes, paddle making, and skin sewing. Thanks to funding from the Paul Allen Foundation, State of Alaska, Rasmuson Foundation, Murdock Charitable Trust and local donations, students of all ages will be learning traditional Tlingit art.
